gw rasberry, straying slightly from his fireweed roots (remember fireweed? a little like csn, a lot less famous) has just finished recording a solo project curving for the coast. Much of the material, including the title track, was written while living in Australia in 2005. There are also performance pieces, hybrid songs, that capture gary’s crossover work as a poet and songwriter. Other songs represent collaborations with rob unger and james campbell of fireweed who, over the past decade, have played mariposa, hillside, blue skies, summerfolk, stewart park as well as the peterborough and ottawa folk festivals.
